Hi, everybody. Need your help. I'm now applying for a MA screenwriting course and they require three half-page pitches. Should the pitch tell the story from the beginning till the very end or just stop somewhere in the third half to keep the intrigue?

editorchicago: Tips on Writing Screenplays

I've written six books, and now I am writing a number of screenplays, which are quicker. Importantly, I must keep a focus on giving the screenplay depth, like I do my books. Yet, I use the same techniques to develop characters and plot, and give my screenplays dynamic structure, like I do when I write books. My first screenplays are science fiction, but I look forward to writing all kinds of screenplays. I started writing screenplays since ghostwriting and editing scripts and books for others, then I wrote my first science fiction book and decided to write my own screenplays. I will share more insight on scriptwriting on my Blog: editorchicago.livejournal.com I am enjoying being a part of the film industry. www.elainenorth.com
